HCLTech, India's third-largest IT services company, has announced a $1.48 billion investment to establish its first AI data center in Odisha's upcoming Odisha Sovereign AI Park. The initiative is a collaboration with Sarvam and the Government of Odisha, signaling a major push into AI infrastructure and local development. The project is part of HCLTech’s broader strategy to support India’s sovereign AI ecosystem by leveraging its expertise and forming strategic partnerships.

The investment includes a significant financial commitment from HCLTech, with the planned capital outlay reaching Rs 14,257 crores.
